WHAT CAN CHAPS DO FOR ME?

OUR ETHOS

Our ethos is working proactively and positively to achieve our aims, to improve autism awareness, increase independence skills and use early intervention techniques to improve outcomes for children.

For parents we produce a monthly newsletter that is sent out to all our members, with current news articles, signposting and reference material and a diary packed full of events detailing everything we are doing the following month.

We help by educating you about the possible difficulties your child may have at the moment or in the future, with advice, support, signposting and information.

ChAPS IS A FAMILY, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! WE ARE HERE TO HELP.

We have made such fabulous friendships with other families who understand that our children are incredibly gifted and our pride and joy.

ChAPS has a range of activities for children including a weekly social intervention club based in Northwich.

We run a range of activities every month specifically for children and teens, including kids and youth clubs, animal interaction, trampolining and anti-gravity yoga.

We supplement these with events during the school holidays, enjoying an array of activities across Cheshire.

For further information about any of the activities or joining ChAPS please contact us via our Contact page.

Holiday Club

We continue to run a very successful Holiday Club from 10am-4pm over each Summer.

We always have a fantastic time with up to 25 children including siblings with a high staff ratio of 1:3. The children can take part in multi sports sessions, drama workshops, arts & crafts lessons, Wii, Xbox, board games, computers, Lego, parachute games and bug hunts.

We all thoroughly enjoy these sessions – parents called them a lifeline. We expect to continue during most school holidays.
